There's a ton of support for different media. [13:40] I'm guessing it's hardcoded to the old url for the stream, so even if the shoutcast is running, it's not getting any data to rebroadcast. [13:40] Do we know who set them up? [13:41] kirbywarp: that's also a problem with VLC. If its codec renders something wrongly, it'll likely take some time to fix unless it's severe enough. The problem is the upstream bandwidth available for Matt - whether recorded and streamed or live and streamed, it's still going to be a problem. The only other choice is a regular podcast without any live recording or using a service like ustream to rebroadcast it with (and ustream has problems of its own) [14:17] oh well, you can't have everything [14:18] The record quality is great because it's taken directly from the soundboard. The live quality is low...it's just the trade-off you have to make. [14:18] I normally have no buffer issues with one of the alternate streams, but it isn't working for me this week [14:19] Even at 40kbps, it's plenty for just people talking..
